this buck is non typical, he has a very strange side of his antlers and the other side is more typical but shaped funny. The only good thing about this buck is that he is still in velvet. I took my girlfriend and her son hunter hunting the other evening. this buck and 3 other ones came in along with 7 does. He was still sporting the velvet on his head. the other 3 bucks were not. The good thing about bucks that don't shed their velvet, is they don't shed their antlers either. They never stop growing. This is caused by an injury to their testicles or they don't drop their testicles like normal bucks do. So He will remain on the hit list and hopefully he continues to grow a big gnarly rack. Whitetail hunting is my life, that is why I am now a Missouri outfitter. I enjoy watching these deer and seeing what they turn into over time.
